Here at Torque, we believe that long term global sustainability issues and our proactive actions towards these issues will continue to play a decisive role towards the continued success of our business, our customers and ultimately our environment.  

 

We are all responsible for our impact on the environment and together we must be committed to improve our environmental performance by working with key suppliers, manufacturers and our customers on a sustainable strategy that will pay dividends in the future.  

 

There are many companies who talk about “going green” but for whatever reason fail to take action. Here at Torque, we are committed to going green and are actively looking to take our customers on this journey of change!

 

Combined with our continued investment in eco-technology and sustainable products we are constantly reviewing our day-to-day operational systems and processes within our business.  From making a conscious effort to minimise our packaging usage, replacing plastic with recyclable paper-based products, through to installing our very own air-compressed recycling balers and compactors that help to reduce our carbon footprint and reducing our impact on the environment.  

 

Strategically aligning our business and environmental values with key manufacturers and suppliers both here in New Zealand and around the world has enabled us to live and breathe our green values.
 

Torque is Toitu Enviromark Bronze certified at our main production site and we are continuing to improve on our certification in the near future. The work is not yet done, our Green Team have Gold certification in their sights  and are working on ways that we can improve even more.
